Life During Hospitalization

Use of Television, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, and Dryer

Televisions and refrigerators are provided at each bedside. To use them, please purchase a TV card. (TV cards can also be used for the refrigerator and washing machine.)
TV card vending machines are available on each ward. Earphones are available in the dayrooms on the 2nd floor of the East Wing and the 3rd, 4th, 6th, and 8th floors of the West Wing.

TV Card: ¥1,000 per Card

Washing machines and dryers can also be operated with coins.
Note: Patients who require a receipt for TV card purchases must inform the staff station before making a purchase. Please be aware that receipts cannot be issued after the purchase has been completed.

TV Card Refunds

For TV card refunds, please submit your card at the Accounting Desk (Window (4)) on the 1st floor, where the remaining balance will be confirmed. After confirmation, please proceed to the TV card refund machine to complete the transaction. Please note that unconfirmed cards cannot be processed. Refunds are issued in ¥10 and ¥100 coins only.

For Patients Using Personal Electrical Appliances

If you wish to use personal electrical appliances, please inform the Admission Desk (Windows (6) and (7)) on the 1st floor, either at the time of your admission reservation or during your hospital stay.

  • Please note that personal televisions and refrigerators are not permitted.

Important Notices and Requests During Your Stay

  1. Please observe hospital rules and follow the instructions of your physician and nursing staff at all times during your stay.
  2. The consumption of alcohol, smoking, and the possession of dangerous items such as fruit knives are strictly prohibited during hospitalization. Please adhere to this policy without exception.
  3. When leaving the hospital premises for an outing or overnight stay, please obtain prior permission from your attending physician and complete the outing and overnight stay register.
  4. Please refrain from any behavior that may cause inconvenience to other patients. This applies equally to all visitors.
  5. Patients will be held responsible for the cost of any damage caused to hospital facilities or equipment.
  6. If there are any changes to your health insurance coverage during your stay, please notify the Accounting Desk (Windows (4) and (5)) on the 1st floor.
  7. Incoming telephone calls from outside the hospital will be forwarded until 9:00 PM.
  8. Lights-out time in patient rooms is 9:00 PM.
  9. Please keep valuables to a minimum and store them in the safety deposit box provided for self-management. The hospital assumes no liability for any theft, loss, or damage that may occur.
  10. If you have any concerns or questions during your stay, please do not hesitate to consult a nurse.
  11. Gratuities to hospital staff are respectfully declined.

  • Note: Please ensure your phone is set to silent mode at all times within the hospital.
  • Note: Please refrain from using your phone while walking.
  • Note: Please be considerate of other patients at all times.
  • Note: Please refrain from using your phone after lights-out.

Hand Washing and Hand Sanitization

During your hospital stay, please practice hand hygiene (handwashing or disinfection with an alcohol-based sanitizer) before meals, after using the restroom, and when entering or leaving your room. We also kindly ask that family members and visitors cooperate in protecting patients from infection.
