At our Department of Plastic Surgery, we have been working to enhance our informational materials related to plastic surgery so that patients and local medical institutions can better understand the scope of our clinical services. These efforts include illustrations created by Radiological Technologist Ryutaro Sugimoto.

A paper summarizing these initiatives and their effects, titled “Initiatives and Effects of Enhancing Visual Information in Public Relations Activities at a Community Hospital,” written by Dr. Kitaguchi of our Department of Plastic Surgery, has been published in the June 2026 issue (Vol. 69) of Plastic Surgery, a specialized journal in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Plastic Surgery is a specialized journal with a history of approximately 68 years since its first publication, featuring a wide range of clinical and research knowledge in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
