Stroke Consultation Window

For Patients and Families

Kano General Hospital has established a “Stroke Consultation Desk” available to patients who are currently hospitalized or have previously been hospitalized at our hospital due to stroke, as well as their families.

Certified stroke care counselors — including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, registered dietitians, rehabilitation specialists, and social workers — are available to provide free consultations to help address any concerns or difficulties related to stroke. Please feel free to make use of this service.

Main Topics for Consultation

Post-stroke caregiving
Social support systems (high-cost medical expense benefits, long-term care insurance, etc.)
Life after discharge
Returning to work, school, or other aspects of social life

※ Strict confidentiality is maintained, and patients and their families will not be disadvantaged in any way.
