About Discharge Procedures

Discharge procedures at Kano General Hospital begin after your attending physician approves your discharge. Review the payment steps, deposit receipt settlement, and instructions before you leave the hospital.

Payment Before Discharge

• After your doctor approves your discharge, the admissions staff will bring your hospitalization invoice to your room.
• Pay your bill at the Accounting Desk on the 1st floor, Windows (4) and (5).
• Bring your deposit receipt when you complete the settlement.

Before Leaving the Hospital

• Receive post-discharge instructions from your attending physician or nurse before you leave.
• If you plan to leave the hospital on a Sunday or public holiday, complete the required procedures by the preceding weekday.
