Radiology Department

Safety and Reliability in Radiation Care

At our Radiology Department, we provide diagnostic imaging services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of outpatient consultation hours. As our examinations involve the use of radiation, we understand that many patients may feel concerned about exposure.

  • “I have had several X-rays recently—is it really okay?”
  • “Will having so many scans at once affect my health?”

We often hear these concerns, but please rest assured.
Medical technology is constantly advancing, and radiation doses used in examinations are steadily decreasing. Furthermore, by managing exposure data and continuously reviewing our imaging protocols, we always strive to conduct examinations with the minimum necessary radiation dose.

If you have any remaining concerns, please feel free to consult our staff at any time.

Imaging Equipment

MRI System

MRI 1.5T

MRI 3T

MRI uses magnetic fields instead of radiation, ensuring no exposure. We operate two units (1.5T and 3T) for rapid and high-precision imaging.

CT System

CT System

CT scans allow for detailed multi-planar reconstruction and 3D imaging in a short time, supporting accurate diagnosis for bones and blood vessels.

Bone Density Scanner

Bone Density Scanner Unit

Our scanner measures not only “bone density” but also “bone quality,” which conventional devices could not evaluate. This allows for the detection of osteoporosis that was previously difficult to identify. For women, bone density can decline rapidly after menopause, so annual testing is recommended. Our hospital also offers a specialized osteoporosis clinic. (Please refer to the Orthopedics page and the Consultation Schedule).

General X-ray System

General X-ray System

This is the most common diagnostic device in the radiology department. By using highly sensitive X-ray detectors, examinations can now be performed with significantly lower radiation doses than in the past. Additionally, improved image processing capabilities allow for more precise diagnostics.

Mammography System

Mammography System

This is a dedicated X-ray device for breast imaging. Although the compression of the breast may cause some discomfort, it is an essential examination for the early detection of breast cancer. This system also achieves low-dose, high-definition imaging through advanced detectors and processing.

Fluoroscopy System

Fluoroscopy System

This system is used for various examinations and procedures, such as barium studies, endoscopies, and joint reductions. It features not only X-ray imaging but also cine-recording and video functions, making it suitable for a wide range of medical needs.

Angiography System

Angiography System

Used during catheter-based examinations and treatments. Our hospital performs angiography for Neurosurgery, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. For details, please contact the respective departments (Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurosurgery).
