Gynecology services at Kano General Hospital include consultations, screening, checkups, and treatment for a range of women’s health concerns. First, this page introduces the main conditions and consultations handled by our department.
Our department provides a wide range of treatments, including hormone therapy. For example, we treat uterine and ovarian cancer, uterine fibroids, ovarian tumors, endometriosis, hormonal imbalances during puberty, menopause, and infertility.
In addition, we treat various sexually transmitted infections. We also provide medical care in cooperation with other departments. As a result, patients can receive support for several related concerns in one hospital.
For general gynecological concerns and sexual health issues, consultations are also available. Moreover, our department explains each concern in a relaxed, conversational manner. Therefore, patients can ask questions and better understand their care.
