About the Emergency Center

Since being designated as an emergency notification hospital in 1969, our hospital has played a central role in providing emergency medical care to the local community.

Currently, the Emergency Center receives more than 5,000 emergency ambulance transports per year, in addition to walk-in emergency patients. The emergency medical system operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The main departments covered are Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. As a result, the center can respond to a wide range of emergency cases.

Initial assessment is performed by an emergency physician. If specialized treatment is required, the emergency team collaborates with physicians from the appropriate departments to provide further care.

Even on holidays and during nighttime hours, three physicians are on duty. Nurses, laboratory technologists, radiology technologists, and pharmacists are also available.

Therefore, the Emergency Center maintains a fully equipped system capable of responding promptly to many types of emergency cases.
