COVID-19 Testing

The following tests are available for diagnosing COVID-19. Testing is performed at the physician’s discretion, and samples are collected from the nasopharynx whenever possible.

Nucleic Acid Detection Test (PCR / LAMP)

A test that amplifies viral genetic material to determine whether viral genes are present in the sample. Results are available from the next day.

Antigen Test (Qualitative)

A method that detects viral proteins using virus-specific antibodies. A positive result indicates the presence of the virus in the sample. Results are available in about 30 minutes.

If you are diagnosed with COVID-19, the hospital will notify the public health center, and you will follow their instructions (home isolation, hotel isolation, hospitalization, etc.). Please avoid contact with others and stay home until your test results are available.
