Hospital Overview

Our Philosophy: Community-Based, Patient-Centered Care
Our guiding philosophy is: “With ‘Heartful Communication’ as our motto, we aim to be a comprehensive health, medical, and welfare group providing seamless care from emergency medicine to long-term nursing care. To achieve this, every staff member acts with professional responsibility.”
To practice community-based medicine, it is essential to provide care across all stages of illness and recovery. Kano General Hospital is fully equipped to provide “all-around” medical and nursing support.
In the field of emergency medicine, we operate an Emergency Center that accepts over 5,000 ambulance transports annually. Furthermore, our Stroke Center maintains a 24/7, 365-day system for receiving stroke patients. We are certified as a “Primary Stroke Center (PSC),” with a system in place to initiate rapid treatment—including rt-PA intravenous therapy—immediately upon patient arrival.
In our Orthopedic Department, we have established a framework that allows for early surgery following fractures, contributing to the improvement of our patients’ quality of life (QOL). To support these medical services, we have introduced cutting-edge medical equipment and developed a comfortable treatment environment with careful attention to amenities.
For patients who have passed the acute phase, we provide optimal rehabilitation through our fully equipped Convalescent Rehabilitation Wards and comprehensive rehabilitation facilities. Additionally, we offer Convalescent Rehabilitation Wards, Long-term Care Wards, and Day Care services to support life at home.
Kano General Hospital remains committed to providing patient-centered medical and nursing care, spanning from emergency services to long-term support.
