For patients visiting Kano General Hospital for the first time
Most illnesses occur suddenly. Therefore, at our hospital, first-time patients do not need to make an appointment. Please come directly to our reception desk and complete the initial consultation procedures (we do not accept appointments for initial consultations). However, some departments may be closed on days when there are no consultations, or due to emergencies or other unavoidable circumstances. Therefore, please check the consultation schedule or call us to confirm before coming to the hospital. Our hospital has 300 beds and falls under the category of hospitals with 200 or more beds as defined in Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notification No. 496. Therefore, in order to receive treatment at our general or specialized outpatient clinics, a referral letter from a local hospital, clinic, or medical institution that serves as the patient's "primary care physician" is required. However, patients who come without a referral letter will be charged 1,650 yen (tax included) as an "out-of-pocket co-payment" in addition to the normal initial consultation fee and medical expenses.

Changing the reservation date and time / Canceling the reservation
Please call the information desk between 12:00 and 16:00 on weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 06-6351-0868. *Please note that we do not accept appointment changes on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, or during the New Year's holiday period. Also, we cannot accept same-day appointment time changes. Even if you are late for your appointment, we will still see you during our regular hours. However, patients who arrive at their scheduled appointment time will be given priority, so you may have to wait. Please call the information desk between 12:00 and 16:00 on weekdays (Monday to Friday) at 06-6351-0868. *Please note that we do not accept appointment changes on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, or during the New Year's holiday period. In addition to this, we will not be able to accommodate any changes in time, and we will respect your understanding. As a result, you can check the progress of the meeting during the scheduled time. However, when you are in Yuyu, the patients who come to the hospital and the general public are given priority.
