To practice community-based medicine, medical care and long-term care tailored to all stages of illness are necessary, and Kano General Hospital has the environment to provide all-around support.

In emergency medicine, we have a 24-hour emergency center; a stroke center capable of handling various cerebrovascular diseases, particularly the groundbreaking t-PA (tissue plasminogen activator) intravenous therapy for cerebral infarction; and a gastroenterology center specializing in digestive diseases, primarily endoscopic treatment. We have also introduced state-of-the-art medical equipment to support the functions of these centers and have created a comfortable healing environment with an emphasis on amenities.

Furthermore, to provide optimal rehabilitation for patients who have passed the acute phase, we have enhanced our recovery rehabilitation ward and comprehensive rehabilitation facilities.

We also offer a long-term care ward for patients who have difficulty returning home due to medical needs, and day care to support home life.
