In the Pharmacy Department, we collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure that drug therapy for each patient is carried out safely and effectively. We play a key role in team medicine by devising dosage forms, selecting storage methods, providing information on the proper use of drugs, and offering medication guidance.<\/p>\n

Cancer Chemotherapy & Regimen Management<\/h4>\n

Cancer chemotherapy uses anticancer and molecular-targeted drugs. Since side effects are common and errors can be life-threatening, we use “Cancer Chemotherapy Regimens”<\/strong>\u2014a precise chronological plan specifying dosage, speed, and withdrawal periods\u2014to ensure patient safety.<\/p>\n

Medication Guidance & Pharmaceutical Management<\/h4>\n

Pharmacists explain medications to inpatients, check for interactions with home medications, and manage hospital-wide drug inventory and safety procedures. We also monitor narcotics and muscle relaxants used in operating rooms.<\/p>\n

    Please place used needles in a hard container (e.g., an empty can or bottle) and bring them to the hospital. Do not dispose of them in household waste; our staff will process them as medical waste.<\/p>\n
