Department Overview<\/h3>\n

\nThe Department of Surgery at our hospital is affiliated with Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine and certified by major surgical societies in Japan.\n<\/p>\n

\nWe provide a wide range of surgical treatments centered on gastrointestinal diseases, from conventional open surgery to minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures.\n<\/p>\n

\nPostoperative care is supported by a dedicated High Care Unit (HCU), ensuring safe recovery after highly invasive procedures.\n<\/p>\n

\nIn collaboration with gastroenterology, we also perform non-invasive treatments such as EMR and ESD for early-stage cancers.\n<\/p>\n

Gastric and Colorectal Cancer<\/h3>\n

\nGastric and colorectal cancers are among the most common malignancies. Treatment is selected according to clinical guidelines based on disease stage.\n<\/p>\n

\nEarly-stage cancers are treated with laparoscopic surgery, while advanced cancers require resection with lymph node dissection. Multidisciplinary therapy is applied when necessary.\n<\/p>\n

\nPalliative care is also integrated in cooperation with community healthcare providers.\n<\/p>\n
